We decided to visit at least 10 Konkan beaches and started with Shrivardhan beach first and then next day return journey was along the coastline exploring remaining Konkan beaches. West coast line i.e. Konkan beaches never disappoint if you are on road trip. From Mumbai, we took Goa highway till Mangaon and then right turn for Shrivardhan.

Coastal Road Trip
Everyone was super excited for this one of a kind Trip. By evening, we reached Shrivardhan Beach Resort. Our stay was in super class Wood Villas. We enjoyed our stay at Shrivardhan Beach.

Shrivardhan Beach
Morning at Shrivardhan beach was beautiful. Serene beauty was feast for the eyes. With cold breeze, we strolled around. To our surprise, we explored a beachside helipad and captured some amazing post for Instagram.

Shrivardhan Beach
After breakfast, we started our actual beach hopping. We bid adieu to beautiful Hamlet. With the small road, covered by dark vegetation on both sides, we started our road trip.
Aravi Beach
Suddenly, road hit the beach. Beach was completely virgin. Crystal clear white sand was the proof of it. We ask Google and we came to know that this is Aravi beach. We started our photo session and enjoyed the moment.

Kondvil Beach
While getting back into the Car, my friend shouted, “look at the road ahead”. The road was completely beach touch. That time my friends realized what you call as the real coastal road trip of Konkan beaches. Car A/c was switched off and windows were opened to enjoy the fresh air. I applied break, took a pic and move ahead.

Kondvil Beach
Sea-View Point
I was eagerly waiting for this point. Location was so much scenic that we unanimously decided to halt. It was not one of the Konkan beaches but it was a Sea viewpoint. After Kondvil beach, countryside road went uphill and left side Sea view was mesmerizing. On to the Right side – hill and left side – a 200-250 ft deep valley and then huge Sea till the horizon. I was so happy to see such a beautiful combination. The hill-top road next to the Sea was ticked off.

Diveagar Beach – One of the best Konkan Beaches
Traveling changes your mind and thinking. We started discussing the last Sea viewpoint in the running car. Further, hill road took us away from the Sea view for some time. With the jungle road, I played soft romantic music to accompany my mood. After crossing small villages one by one, the road took us to another beautiful destination i.e. Diveagar Beach – one of the famous Konkan beaches. This beach is a tourist destination and no doubt there was a rush. After a long time, we saw so much tourist crowd in our coastal road trip. Undoubtedly, Diveagar Beach attracts tourist for its beauty, its length, and pure sand. In addition, we saw many watersports options available for tourist. But, away from the hustle and bustle, we walked down to one corner of the beach, just to enjoy nature.

Roop Narayan Temple
On the way, we visited Roop Narayan and Surya Mandir. A complete architectural marvel, built with red stones. I liked the stepwell structure built just beside the temple. Before, moving on to the next destination or next beach, we tasted amazing non-veg dishes at one of the best hotels of Diveagar. With the overdose of food, everyone was drowsy. While trying to find out a road, Google maps gave up and I started asking locals for the direction.

Unlimited Konkan beaches
Tall Coconut trees on both sides of a road were making us realize that its Konkan -THE REAL NATURE. Red soil, narrow roads and scattered homes of Diveagar were part of our beautiful coastal trip of Konkan beaches. Slowly, we came out of jungle road and amazed with next Serene seaside road. It was the second half of the day, an hour before the evening, we saw pre-wedding photo-shoot on such a scenic location.

Velas Beach – Shooting Point
Adgaon beach
Slowly, enjoying the sea-nic location ride, we saw rocks and the whitest sand. Without any second thought, I parked the vehicle by the road. Immediately, we jumped on the beach. This was the cleanest and beautiful seaside location. We sat on the rocks. Clearly, I was able to notice the village of fishermen as many fishing boats were parked at the end of a beach. We spent some good time and everyone was content or started behaving like a satisfied soul.
At the end, we concluded that locals of this place are lucky to enjoy this beauty daily.

Adgaon Beach
Dighi Port
According to Google maps, Adgaon beach was the last beach. After crossing the village, we entered into the thick forest hill route. In between, we were able to sneak a Sea view from the forest hill route till Dighi Port. Before Sunset, we reached the port where we were going to transfer our car into the ferry to cross a creek. It was one of a kind evening. Booking person asked us to wait for the ferry. My gang was happy so that we can enjoy the location for more time. We click many pictures and had great evening photo session.

By the time we reach the other end, it was almost dark. We took out the car from the ferry and took a halt again to capture the orange shade of the day.

After the exploration of Konkan , What Next? Was the question – to extend stay or to head back Mumbai late night. With so much beaches & Photo Session today, no one was interested in going home. We decided to halt at Revdanda beach in Alibaug and headed for Revdanda beach Camping.
